Songs of Creation Care

The Sunrise Movement, one of the most effective climate activist groups, has a Soundcloud page stocked with great chants. Favorites include an updated coal miners' union song “Which Side Are You On?” and a version of Leonard Cohen’s famous “there is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.”

A Rocha’s Good Seed Sunday program has collected a massive list of nature-related hymns. For more lists, check Earth Ministry’s or the Canadian Citizens for Public Justice’s “Hymns for Creation.” For a few deep cuts arranged by theme, check a hymn selection from Operation Noah.

The UK-based group Christian Climate Action recently published their Climate Action songbook, which looks awesome.

The Christian Reformed Church’s Office of Social Justice has written a few creation hymns, including some in Spanish.
